our inspiration

As a visual artist from the age of six, I observed many benefits of creative expression in a quiet place in nature for myself and others. With the combination of training in art therapy and meditation, as a  teacher, I was inspired and saw the need to evolve & teach meditation, visualisation and art processes.

After extensive trialling these lessons with hundreds of students from a range of diverse backgrounds and abilities, many children transformed into their creative loving hearts. Mindful Creative Hearts was ignited – we wish to share this gift to transform many more lives.

What Parents and Principals are saying!

Julie you are simply amazing-such an inspiration!!
From the moment I picked up your book and flicked through the pages I knew straight away that it was like no other book. This book was ‘alive’ and had a positive vibe.

It is a brilliant blend of explicit mindfulness instruction and creative art. My very first lesson was “We Are All One Love” and I did this with a Kindergarten class at my school.

I was impressed with the students’ responses. Not only did the kinders enjoy the process, there was also a sense of calm, kindness and gratitude as we worked through the exercises.

Your book holds a special place in my heart. It is obvious it is written with love, wisdom, kindness, compassion and gratitude. It ticks so many boxes! My students of all ages have loved your book.

Inspiring, uplifting – THANK YOU!!”

“My kids and I loved our meditation and art time together. Jules has kept her book simple, yet it’s so effective. I plan to use her book for my upcoming
workshop, for children and adults, to get in touch with their inner child – we all love to draw!”
